Born in Caracas, Venezuela.
Elementary school in Colegio Neverí and Colegio San Ignacio, Caracas.
Secondary school in Colegio San Ignacio, Caracas.
Civil Engineering in Universidad Católica Andrés Bello, Caracas. Minor in Hydraulics. Graduated as top 5% of his class. Engineer Intern certification Nº 1100014471 since June 2010.
Lived and worked in Caracas, Venezuela, until 1988; in Toronto, Canada, from 1988 to 1991; in Montreal, Canada, from 1991 to 1992; in Caracas, Venezuela, from 1992 to 1998, in Los Cabos, México, from 1998 to 2002 and in Florida, USA, from 2002 to the present date.

Extensive experience in all aspects of the construction industry, including conceptualization, market analysis, design supervision (Architectural, structural, MEP, etc), permitting, pre-construction evaluation, value engineering, takeoffs, pricing, contract negotiation, scheduling, cash flow analysis, financial projections, cost control, contract management, production supervision, quality control on the field and sales.
Worked in many kinds of projects, including infrastructure (dirt movement, potable water, waste water and reuse main lines, lift stations, storm drainage, electrical distribution, roadways, landscaping, etc), single family homes, luxury homes, town homes, high-rise condos, high-rise offices, retail spaces, parking buildings, large shopping malls and town centers, hotels and industrial facilities.
Worked with many different kinds of construction methods, including cast-in-place concrete using bonded-steel reinforcement, cast in place concrete with post-tensioned reinforcement, pre-stressed concrete, steel structures, hybrid steel/concrete structures, tunnel systems, prefabricated partitions and adobe homes.
Hobbies: Writing, woodworking/cabinet-making, photography.
Special interests: history, mathematics, astronomy, legal philosophy.
