Sedimentación en el embalse La Mariposa: (Sedimentation in the Mariposa water reservoir): (1972) Written in Spanish as graduation thesis requirement. It described the sedimentation pattern in La Mariposa water reservoir, in Caracas, Venezuela. The study forecasted that by 2016 the reservoir would be full of sediment. The sedimentation pattern of this reservoir is very atypical, since it responds to sediments derived from normal precipitation plus sediments derived from water pumped from other reservoirs. The prediction points towards having been accurate, according to recent information available through local press articles.

The 200: Published electronically and in paper in English in 2010. Co-written with Veronica Paris. It is a philosophy book disguised as a Science-Fiction novel for teenagers and young adults.
Two hundred carefully selected young boys and girls start an interstellar journey in 2049, escaping from an Earth that has been completely destroyed, to settle on a distant moon. After finding an extraterrestrial civilization there, a clash of wills and philosophical views threatens to destroy both cultures.
‘The 200’ is the saga of a group of young colonists confronting their own insufficiencies and abilities in an alien environment. As the plot unfolds they are faced with a civilization that receives them with open arms. The lust of power of one of the four main characters quickly turns the amicable encounter into a nightmare that brings guests and hosts to the brink of destruction. Thought provoking, philosophical and sometimes politically incorrect, The 200 is a novel that begs for a sequel.
